THE SUN

A zine from the week of June 30-July 6, based on drawing The Sun card at the top of the week.

This week, I was sick again! But still managed to pull a little something together. I do love this card, and it’s fun to pull it at this time of year, even though I was mostly stuck inside away from the sun myself. I did end up venturing outside to draw under the sun one day that I was feeling more energized.

The sun represents abundance, radiance, positivity, optimism, and more, and more! I designed this one to play with the shape of the sun itself when folded. I was hoping to carve stamps for each panel, and even have some alternate images on the other side of the page for a "B-side” or a Reversal, I guess, which is more of a tarot thing. But… the energy was severely lacking. Still, plenty of ideas for another time!
